IRISBLU  TERRIERS

Hello and welcome to our web site. We are both from Derry which is in the North of Ireland and  it  was actually through owning horses that we first met.

Dogs were a big part of Harolds' life and he spent all his youth hunting with terriers and lurchers. His  father always had Kerry Blues and that is where the fondness for the breed originated. Because of his working terrier background  he came to admire the true grit that a Kerry Blue has in abundance. It wasn't until later that we turned out attention to the show ring. We have travelled to various countries and have seen some beautiful dogs.

Our own personal goal is to breed terriers of correct style and correct attitude. Hopefully we will produce some quality dogs of our own to carry forward the Irisblu name. We have met some good friends through showing dogs, and have had plenty of fun times. Hope you like our website but more importantly we hope you like our dogs.
